Delivery Information

Orders placed before 2pm will be processed the same working day. Orders are only delivered on working days, i.e. week days excluding bank holidays.

Orders are delivered by a combination of parcel and pallet networks. Large deliveries will arrive on a lorry equipped with tail lift and manual pallet trolley. Orders are unloaded to ground level and are able to be wheeled short distances over good ground to the desired destination.

If your delivery address may be subject to access restrictions (narrow lanes, etc) please indicate that you require your delivery in a 7.5 tonne lorry on the delivery page of the checkout process. If your property is not suitable for access by a 7.5 tonne vehicle we are able to arrange for smaller orders to be delivered by transit van although this service is prohibitively expensive and fairly limited. In exceptionally busy periods a shortage of 7.5 tonne vehicles may result in your delivery being delayed by a day, although this is very rare!

All orders are not suitable for outside storage or exposure to the wet.

Not all delivery methods are available to all the parts of the country

Standard Delivery

Standard delivery operates on a 3rd working day basis. An order placed before 4pm on working day 1 will be delivered on working day 3

Our delivery partner will text or call the day before a delivery is due to take place to confirm that there will be someone available to sign for the delivery and to give a rough indication of the delivery time.

Next Day Delivery

Next day delivery operates on a 2nd working day basis. An order placed before 2pm on working day 1 will be delivered on working day 2.

Regular Yard Delivery

Free deliveries to your yard can be arranged, just contact us first before placing your order and we can discuss your options.

Failed Deliveries

Where deliveries are attempted but the delivery is unable to be completed due to the absence of someone able to sign for the goods we reserve the right to charge a £15 redelivery charge.

Unsigned Deliveries

We strongly recommend customers not to ask us to leave the order without obtaining a signature. However where the customer instructs us in writing in the delivery note field to leave the delivery without obtaining a signature we are not able to entertain any claims that may arise from goods arriving damaged or being left at an incorrect location.

If you would like a small order left (i.e. if you will not be there to take delivery), please leave a signed delivery notice identifying where the item is to be left at the delivery address and a signature for the carrier to take with them. Without this notice the carrier will not be able to leave your delivery!

Returns

If you find the goods unsuitable or you are not totally satisfied, providing you notify us within 8 working days from receipt of the goods and return to us unsoiled, unused and in the original packaging you will be entitled to an exchange or return.

You will be required to arrange and pay for the return shipping. Please contact us if such a case occurs and we can advise you of the most cost effective means of return.
